Gorgoff Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Which is just fine and for my part a logical conclusion. In reality we played a different game for amlost two years now. We hadn't formations, bazillion psy powers or those meta detachments, plus different missions. And our rules where written with much more RPGish elements in it. While 40k drifted more in the bigger, harder, LOUDER way of playing, HH went more in the narrative direction with all the scenarios and campaigns. 7th edition reflected that quiet well. PLEASE! Don't start an argument about wether we should get 8th or not. We all went through that and it leads nowhere. I'm not entirely sure, but i recall some rulebook having the examples explained with marines vs. orks, so maybe they didn't bother to change them (although it would have been a nice touch to use appropiate pictures).
