Jagus Kumkani
Hello all, I need some help with getting the correct degree of battle damage and grim on my AU Legion. I'll be spraying them Retributor Gold, which is their main color and black as the secondary color. So I'm wondering what paints and techniques I need to use to get that battle-worn look that 30k Legionnaires have to them? I've seen it done on every 30k Legion so far so, is it possible to do the same thing with the main color being gold. Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. MikhalLeNoir
They look like my destroyers^^ You could base them brazen brass and make the hairspray/ salt chipping or sponge some brass on it. On the edges i use mithril silver or an equivalent silver color to show some really ragged edges. So a mix of sponging and chipping is my suggestion. Jagus Kumkani
I planned on using the sponge technique. But this makes sense. I think I'll use a dark brown or black and a silver to show we serious battle damage. Especially on the MKIII squad I have.
