Will Grey Knights be fixed by the March FAQ?

I’m pretty sure that we’ll have no good news.

Agreed.
Disagreed.
So what good news are you expecting us to get?
I expect some small buffs to underutilized weapons and units. Small increments to not overdo it, but buffs nonetheless.

I'm hoping for some range increase on heavy weapons and some AP and damage buffs, either or.

Purifiers get some range increase hopefully, and maybe an additional attack to make them that more dangerous.

Some decreases on CP on stratagems, since they're more difficult to get.

I would love for you to be right but I honestly think we'll be largely ignored again, save for a points increase of 15-20 for Grand Master Dreadknights. If they actually do a decent job of balancing us against the other factions, I'll be first on B&C admitting I was wrong but history suggests I won't be.

Point changes are for CA. They will have some, I think, but only where it is needed most. And I've never seen someone complaining GMNDK are too cheap.

Nobody needs to complain. All GW needs is to see that the only GK unit other armies are taking is the GMNDK and they'll assume it must be too good so they'll slap a few more points onto it. What you need to remember is that the majority of their balancing decisions have been incompetent or imbecilic so far.

The balancing decisions have been based on tournament performance only.

We got nerfed by association.

As as no one continues to use any gk at tournaments I'm siding with us being ignored. And only effected by any generic changes.

There's simply no GK playtesting for them to base any changes on.

No points. That's for chapter approved.

This is just updated FAQs.

exactly. We can only hope on some stat adjustments.

If the open letter is done, perhaps we could email it to 40kfaq@gwplc.com.

I don't think it would take too much for them to modify rites of banishment via FAQ, perhaps even stratagem costs.

If I am right we sent the e-mail months ago. Even because it is too late since the FAQ will be released next week.

I don't remember if they said "only".  We'll see next week. If rumors about casting value of smite is true, I doubt there will be any changes for RoB. Increasing purifying flame range is also unlikely because of overall mortal wound nerf. I still hope for D2 psycannon.

I won't be happy if that's all we got (although I don't expect us to even get THAT much attention). There is a lot more that needs addressed.

I agree with you but I'm pessimistic. We wouldn't have any big changes. Because of this i'll be happy if we get the above mentioned modifications.

I don’t know but chaplains need a strong improvement.

You’re right. Lol

Fixed that for you :)

I think further buffing our psychic prowess would help out a lot. Plus that special issue chaplain model is boss.

Actually I love the old model that I used to make our chaplain.

I would really tone down expectations. We're a minor faction, they're gonna be focused more on the Tier 1 armies.

I agree with RD. The most I think we'll receive is some sort of exemption to the beta smite rules that will likely be made official.

However, any nerf to soup will hit us hard (as a minor faction that benefits from allies).

I hope I'm wrong though :P

Yep, but I still think that we are no getting the attention we deserve.

Our problem is that we share some units with Other armies and we risk to have more berf due to this.

But there are no rumors yet? March is finishing.

It seems like GW were waiting for Adepticon to finish. The championship event finished today (Matt Root's nids won), so the FAQ should roll out on Monday... unless they want to spend a couple of days looking at the data and potentially making some slight adjustments.
