Custom Librarian - aka The Drowned Priest

Hi all,

 

Long time lurker, first time poster!

 

All my previous "conversions" have just consisted of using pieces and 3rd party bits to put stuff together. Had an idea for a counts-as Librarian for a customer SM chapter so this is my first attempt at anything significant.

 

The chapter is sea themed, toying with the idea of calling it Sons of Poseidon, the tides will purge... The Librarian, aka The Drowned Priest uses the free Slaughter Priest I got from the first issue of the re-released White Dwarf many months ago as a base.

 

Here is my very amateur attempt:

 

Holding the chapters relic weapon, The Trident. Idea for the other thing was meant to be an ancient chapter artefact, some kind of lantern (thinking Thresh's lantern from League of Legends).

 

Hoping it'll look like wet matted/dreadlocked hair hanging down his face rather than a squid on his head... yes went with the sea theme but didn't want to go in that direction!

Obviously need to do bases but still undecided!

Welcome to posting on the Bolter and Chainsword, and congratulations for the conversion, it's looking very good :tu:

Looks like you've got an interesting custom chapter there, if you're interested in sharing stories about them, the best place to do so is in the Liber :)
