With Cadian Shock Troops I follow the same paint scheme described earlier, only now I applied 2 coats of wash (Reikland Fleshshade). This will make shade more deep.

WIP of Regimental Standard bearer.

Fatiques are a little bit brighter than other troopers has, but it is specialy designed, so enemy can know that this person is important and has important role on the battlefield! (Honestly, I just took wrong colour. I used Vallejo Model Air 71.075 Sand (Ivory) instead of Vallejo Model Air 71.074 Radome Tan). But I like first variant of explanation. :-)

Also, I used other method for face:

* Base: Citadel Dwarf Flesh

* Wash: Citadel Reikland Fleshshade

* Re-base: Citadel Dwarf Flesh

* Highlight: Citadel Screaming Skull

Great stuff! Are you currently putting anything on the decals? Some look "raw" and crinkled and others like there may be a layer of varnish on them (it may be the lighting?).

On the latest models I use next method:

* Apply Vallejo Gloss Varnish

* Apply Vallejo Decal Fix

* Put decal on model

* Apply Vallejo Decal Medium

* Apply Vallejo Matt Varnish

I have issues that decal doesn't cover full surface, than I try somehow cut / spare decal, so it can be applied fully to surface. But, I am still newbie regarding decal stuff.

You may need more coats of the decal medium. That should be breaking down the flat backing which has crinkled up and leave the pigmentation. I recommend How to Apply Decals with the Vallejo Decals System (I linked directly to the part on decal medium); I found it very useful even if using Microscale Microset and Microsol which I use. I leave the microsol (equivalent to decal medium) to dry for about 40 minutes between coats.
