Claws and Effect Posted March 30, 2018 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Exploding attacks (If I'm correct on the term as used here), is an extension of the exploding dice concept. In 40k, an exploding attack is sometimes seen where a roll of 6 to hit generates a free extra attack with the same weapon. True exploding dice can keep generating attacks or damage if you keep rolling the maximum number, but in 8th edition 40k it is limited to a single extra attack.
