Hinting at later successor Chapters...

Hello brethren. I'm looking for a little inspiration for the ETL. My current "mega project" I'm trying to use to inspire me to paint ridiculous numbers of Marines is to make several types of Ultramarine forces drawn from several Ultramarines Chapters before they were split by the Codex Astartes. I want them each to hint forward to what that force will shortly become. Thus far I've only painted some of my future Praetors of Orpheus first company, and aside from a couple hints here and there it's mostly red helms denoting ties to a Mechanicus Forgeworld, a tie which they I believe later become known for.

I'm leaning toward Mortifactors for my first vowed force, as I feel MkIII armour and MkIV bikes both seem brutal or assaulty enough for them. Foreshadowing, im thinking bone white faceplates on their helmets for skull analogues as well as incorporating some very very dark, almost black, blue or bone in parts as honour or vow markings. Of course, liberal use of skulls in their personal and company heraldry is a requirement.

So, experts, I'm looking for two things. What are some interesting or favorite second founding Chapters of yours? Additionally, how would you hint at some of the doctrines and iconography they'll someday acquire? I figure I'll have at least one more to work on beyond the two I have planned, but so far none of the chapters I've found jump out at me.

Edit: even later Chapters would work, as we know some later founding Chapters have their spiritual roots in the heresy.

It's hard to get away from Mortifactors for the sheer opposite aesthetic compared to the Ultramarines.

The Aurora Chapter are another successor that speaks to me but I must confess I believe they are 2nd Founding rather than later. Their colour scheme is again very different and they play Mechanised which is cool and potentially powerful post FAQ.

My current ETL vow is being painted as a nod to Mortifactors (more white armour than normal, including face plates). Scythes I considered but they kind of already have a story. Aurorans are interesting too, as their green pauldron was apparently an example of foreshadowing in the lore. Very tempting, especially with so many vehicles unpainted. (I don't much like painting vehicles, so they tend to stay grey for quite awhile...)
