solarisqc
Does the codex have the tactical flexibility stratagem? They allow max unit of 6 to split in 2 unit of 3 (bike/agressor/inceptor) This stratagem is use at the start of the movement phase same as other marine so no DS and split before next turn. 6262
Does the Corvus Blackstar re-roll 1s with its Auspex array or add 1 to ground based targets? I keep seeing videos that confuse me as to what the rule actually is. That's a bit lame No - the stratagem says a 10man squad with the Combat Squads rule can go 2x 5man OR aggressors/bikers/inceptors can split to 3 each Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/347060-got-my-codex-today-ama/page/4/#findComment-5078554 Share on other sites
CCE1981
Do DeathWatch troops have the Objective Secured rule? Including attached Aggressors, Inceptors, Hellblasters and Reivers. Trying to see if taking 5x Intercessors and 5x Inceptors then combat squading the Intercessors and Inceptors means I can get a “Troop” Inceptor squad with 3x Assault Bolters and 2x Plasma Exterminators. Chapter Approved 2017 says yes If your army is Battle-forged, all Troops units in <FACTION> Detachments gain this ability. Such a unit that is within range of an objective marker (as specified in the mission) controls it even if there are more enemy models within range of it. If an enemy unit within range of the objective marker has a similar ability, then it is controlled by the player who has the most models within range as normal. Rik Lightstar
Bolt Carbines for Reivers appear to be 4 points per model, which along with the 1 point per Heavy Bolt Pistol makes them 23 points each, so probably too expensive. Anyone else think this is a bit much? Rik Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/347060-got-my-codex-today-ama/page/4/#findComment-5079043 Share on other sites

Still think the sword load out make good harassment units and with the pistols having SIA they are much better than vanilla marines. Yup 4pts for the bolt carbine and what makes it worse is that the auto bolt rifle has the same stats and is only 2pts. LucidNinja
Do the terror grenades (or whatever they are called) cost anything? maybe the choice would always be reiver with carbine over intercessors with auto bolts Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/347060-got-my-codex-today-ama/page/4/#findComment-5079070 Share on other sites

Moostick
Isn't Troops getting ObSec due to being battleforged a universal rule anyways? I don't think which faction really matters.
