Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch
So, I’m looking to convert a Necron Overlord (specifically, this one (https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Necron-Overlord-with-Warscythe)) to a deathmark lord. Part of this includes giving him a rather large gun, preferably with blades on it as well (I won’t get into the reposing the project may include). I would like to use the Necron wraith viscious claws (part number one I believe, the parts that can be used in place of whipcoils in the front claws) to create a bayonet for the rifle. My question is, given that many warscythes have a primary and secondary blade, would a blade on the stock as well be oddly out of place/impractical for both lining up shots and using as a melee weapon, or is it possible to explain it away as Necron technosorcery? Are there historical examples of such, reasons for/Ayana t such a thing, or am I just being crazy? Apologies if this is confusing (or in the wrong forum), I may add pics tomorrow if I can find the time, which hopefully will reduce confusion. Thanks in advance!
