Hello folks,

I am proud to announce the inaugural episode of the Dice Dweller's Podcast.

In this episode, I am joined by my co-chairs Hardy and Nathan, as we sit down and review the Deathwatch Codex from top to bottom in terms of its gameplay on the tabletop. As I state in the title, this is a Deathwatch Codex review by a Deathwatch player for Deathwatch players.

Please feel free to leave any comments, suggestions, critique or the like below.

Cool podcast, thanks for sharing. Still assembling my force and as a 40k newbie there's some good info already and I'm only  20 minutes in. :biggrin.:

Do you guys have a website or will be doing more of these on YouTube, etc? Would love to hear other topics you all might cover.

We are currently deciding if we want to do more episodes. Reception of the first is obviously important to doing more. I've already spotted a number of audio issues to address going forward, but if people don't like the format and content, then not much push for a second episode.

Currently debating doing Codex Necrons.

Cool. I hope you guys do more. Good content presented in entertaining way. Really enjoyed your take on Kill Teams as I see a lot of people not using Primaris Kill Teams and I've managed to build all of my troops with a lot of the philosophies you guys discussed so I'm hyped to finish everyone up and play. :biggrin.:

Would love to hear some Harlequin/Aeldari content. ;)

There is no correct way to play Deathwatch. If you don't take certain units, that does not mean you're doing it right or wrong. Its a perspective. However too many people don't have any perspective or drive to find it themselves so they ask. This was my attempt to get my some of my thoughts down once and for all, and let people review it in context and come up with their own decisions. I'm glad that you're finding it entertaining. Still crack up every time I think of Nathan's quote concerning the Thief of Secrets; "Its not even top 6 and there are only 6 relics."

You could probably do a podcast focused primarily on Deathwatch and never run out of things to talk about.

It's interesting and I would listen.

Oh trust me, you can run out of things to discuss, and the risk of repeating the same things over and over again can occur. Afterall, if I need to explain each time I take a frag cannon in a unit how good it is and what its purpose is, and how to use it, along with movement tactics etc, people would lose interest I think.
