Orpheus108
Greetings Renegades, So with the new release of Kill Team I'm hoping that at some point they make some rules for the R&H. I know that FW has discontinued the line but that could mean that GW picks it up and adds it to main stream line. Anyway I thought I'd start off with asking what people would like to see from R&H to make a great KT, you thoughts..... Kinstryfe
Two trains of thought. The first is that there are already a couple viable counts-as ways to do it. Genestealer Cults with renegade guard as Neophytes, various types of basic mutants, beefy mutants, and killy mutants as acolytes, aberrants, and purestrain stealers respectively. More guard focused renegades can just run the Astra Militarum list, with Scion Gunners as your more killy guns. You can also go old-school Lost and the Damned with the Chaos Astartes, Deathguard, or Thousand Sons lists with a few marines leading a rabble of cultists/zombies/beastmen. I'm sure there are other options I haven't even considered as well. If I were designing one from the ground up, the easy formula they seem to be doing would be for Renegades or Cultists (1 Leader, X Gunners), Disciples (1 Leader, X Gunners), and Mutants (1 Leader, random mutation at battle start). If I were going with a wishlist sort of design, it would probably be Cultists (as Chaos Astartes), Mutants (1 Leader, random mutations), some sort of Chaos Hounds (already a plastic kit), and perhaps Disciples or similar. Bonus points if I figure out how to make mini-spawn viable. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349198-kill-teams/#findComment-5133457 Share on other sites
Syrakul
Oh i never thought of the GSC option before, with options like you mention there is plenty of room for humans to larger mutants (stealers) and in between. Also has more interesting special/heavy options astra don’t have, like stubbers, shotguns etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/349198-kill-teams/#findComment-5133516 Share on other sites
