_Myr_
Hi there!! it's a really pleasure can show my army, or my army in WIP hahahaha. This army began 18 years ago, when mi parents give my the first "begin pack" of the 40k universe (the pack which face the back templars and the dark eldars). The name of the army in Spanish is "Hojas Sangrientas", is a word game. "Hojas" mean the sheet, of the book i.e., and blade. So, the name play with this word game. Protect the real mean of the word using the one way that the empire knows: the war (using blades hahah). The role of the army is against the empire and the chaos. I will show the role when is translated to English. At the moment, show you one unit of the army. The modifications and paint is recently (6 months ago, approx). One detail of my army: the marines has no put backpack, the armor is modified to don't need it. Besides, the armor is a big electromagnet to carry the different weapons and extras and, in heavy units, make the different energy fields to protect the troops. I hope to can update often this WIP. PS: I don't remember if I posted in New Members. I'm registered since 2016, hahaha. If not, my name is Dave and i collect 40k and fantasy (AOS now) since 1999. I love the 40k game, specially the modeling and modify the miniatures, i love it, although my skill in this field is similar to child . Cheers! Bjorn Firewalker
The pictures are too blurry for me to focus on the details. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/350651-_myr_-box-hojas-sangrientas/#findComment-5175113 Share on other sites
Zebulon
The pictures are out of focus, but I can see it’s a bold scheme of reds and silvers; I can also see you have put effort into building up the bases so each model stands on what look like rocks. Good start. Edit: I also appreciate the play on words, that’s a good place to start. The book is the blade, or maybe the blade is the book. _Myr_
Afternoon!! i'm sorry for the last images, my camera has low resolution. I will try to take photos using the mobile. Today i bring new images from my army. The paint of the minis are in progress because i love ever modifying the minis after the painting even, ahahah I hope the photos have better quality. This is the squad "Scourges of Mikos" : The marine with a bolter without paint really carry a melta gun but in the photo i didn't found it hahaha. In the next photo he carry the melta. This melta gun is made as of the bolter of the typical miniature of space marine of the pack with paints... well... the squad is made as of this miniatures hahah. So, the melta is a scratch melta gun. Squad "Devastators of Uriel": Captain Uriel This miniature (not yet named) has a skull in the hand. The photo is a little blurry... =( Now, i'm painting a Imperial Knight and modelling others miniatures (Scratch Terminators). Cheers!
