just picked out a few relevent ones i saw.

 

Baal pred -10

death company dread -10 with ccw's going down -30 for talons and -10 for fists

furioso dread -20 frag cannon -8

A massive missed opportunity not fixing encarmine weapons tho (unless its fixed some other way). Fists all around then it looks.

 

absolutely fantastic on Dante, The sanguinor, Sanguinary anciant and dreads tho. baal pred probably still not worth it. 

Missile Launchers are now 20. That's the most balanced changed I've seen in a long time. Perfect price point for them.

Since Encarmine weapons aren't dropping, have you seen anything about the base cost of Sang Guard dropping?

 

 

the blood angels unit entries are on natfka, no sanguianry gued drops on it.

It's possible they are on their own page, look at the way they have the Craftworlds Units entries broken up.  First they give non-unique units then the named stuff in its own box.

 

I'm pretty sad that Tacticals are going unchanged though, but then again, maybe the drops to weapon prices will increase their efficacy?

im looking at the BA page, sadly. 

Veterans dropped to 14 though, and intercessors to 17, and all Dreadnoughts got a 10 pt. reduction it seems.

 

OOH: Libby Dread dropped 20 pts and ReDread dropped 35 pts!

 

With the Furioso Fist dropping as well the libby dread gets 30 points cheaper in total!

This is so odd. Libby Dread was expensive but he was useful and had a purpose and I regularly took him even when he was up to 170-180 pts.

 

Tacticals, Death Co and SGuard, who've been tough to include, get untouched.

Yup.  

 

Madness.  I'm going to work with what I've been given, but the very notion that these units weren't touched is absolutely beyond the scope of my comprehension.  I'm expecting nothing, but holding out for a hail mary rule change to them. 

 

Otherwise I'm convinced they have absolutely no idea what theyre doing with this particular faction. 

I think they just go by scuttlebut and hearsay "oh man! Death Company are so OP! You see them in every BA list!" but don't do any actual analysis on who/what/when/where/why/how.

 

I wonder if they are able to discern between something being taken a lot because it's OP and something taken a lot because it's one of the few viable options.

 

That being said, overall, things are starting to move in the right direction. The % drops here and there won't radically change things, but I think it's a start and will allow us to squeeze in an extra unit or so.

Alot of fun changes for pick up games, looking forward to trying out my dread/jumper list. I also play IG and feel like got more of a buff than BA and there are other factions that got some huge changes. 

 

For tournaments i'd say we jumped down to the absolute bottom tier as a mono faction (IMO) Imperial soup got a solid buff as the core IG units are slightly cheaper overall and the BA cherry picked units dropped a significant amount. Guess we have to wait another 12 months

which is why i've moved into house ruling them.
