MithrilForge
New army... this is my favourite model so far so it's being built and painted first * Had to paint some parts inside before putting it together (its dry fitted to make sure) Mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/351454-the-art-of-waaaghhhnew-army-scrapjet/ Share on other sites
MithrilForge
Progress.... i like the scrapjet that GW did but i also want mine to be Evil Sunz (my army Kulture) so i'm trying for a traditional "go fasta" red top and an aircrafty aluminium looking lower fuselage we'll see how that goes... Q- what colour should the rockets be to contrast!?... Zebulon
I’d suggest a kind of mustardy yellow for the rockets would look good. Standing out, while still complementing what looks to be a really nice red paint job there :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/351454-the-art-of-waaaghhhnew-army-scrapjet/#findComment-5202343 Share on other sites

MithrilForge
Loving the red, stunning colour! How did you do it? That's 3x thin coats of Mephiston red over the Leadbelcher (spray) undercoat, with an Agrax wash in the panel lines and rivets. thanks for looking Cheers, Mithril Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/351454-the-art-of-waaaghhhnew-army-scrapjet/#findComment-5203009 Share on other sites
