Could someone explain the DA time-travel plot introduced by Thorpe?

Personally, more BA and the corrupted primarch ascencions.

 

On the first, it feels like the BA have done nothing during the entire heresy only to be dealt a large blow at its conclusion and will now hide our shame during the scouting.

 

On the second, I believe the ascencions happened during the scouting and would be cool individual stories to tell.

So, is that tales of the primarchs story with Corax and Lorgar legit? As in "this is definitely how Corax is if he showed up in M42?". Traitor primarch ascensions storylines in a scouring series sounds good.

The Scouring of the Nostramo sector by the Ashen Claws would be a great tale

I want to see a limited series, maybe 10 books or so. Each one featuring a different successor chapter. Give each author a chance to really write something new and create a chapter from the ground up.
