If they end up telling me once more that they don't have the colours we would like, I'll be looking at commissioning another company for the dice (mostly likely Q Workshop). Q Workshop have replied to my e-mail but I have some bad news... We always prepare pricing for certain quantities of identical dice, identical meaning the same type, design and color combination. If you decide to order, for example: 300 identical 16 mm D6, the price will be 1.17 USD per die plus the shipping cost400 identical 16 mm D6, the price will be 0.91 USD per die plus the shipping cost550 identical 16 mm D6, the price will be 0.84 USD per die plus the shipping cost600 identical 16 mm D6, the price will be 0.81 USD per die plus the shipping cost650 identical 16 mm D6, the price will be 0.78 USD per die plus the shipping cost. The bigger the quantity, the lower the price. For gold or silver engravings the price will be 25% higher. This puts the dice at anywhere between 2 and 4 times more expensive than if we get our dice manufactured via Chessex. I'm not sure about you folks but given the quantities I wanted to order this will prove to be beyond my current budget. Add to this the silence on Chessex's part and their failure to source the colours we would like to have our dice in... I dunno, it's quite disheartening. Thoughts?
