Muckwarrior Posted March 5, 2019 Share Posted March 5, 2019 I want to build a new Primaris army, but I need some help/feedback on colors and ideas: I want to build a Primaris only force for the Astral Knights, but, they have some unique coloring and style. What would you think their base color is? What color blue is their trim? I'm not restricted to Citadel Paints. Where could find these decals? Panzer Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Yeah you'd be fine with just using Leadbelcher spray. Here are some of my Knights of Blood Baal for comparison. I'm a lazy painter so I didn't do it by the book and skipped a few steps. This is just Leadbelcher primer from their rattle can and then a heavy wash with nuln oil to give them a more dirty look. thewarriorhunter Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 I have a similar scheme for my homebrew chapter, the Spectral Sicarii: I was asked once if they were Astral Knights. I do a light gray for the base but the blues may work for you. My base blue is all Vallejo: Turquoise, then I recess/edge glaze/highlight with Dark Blue and then a finer application of Dark Prussian Blue.
