I think it's a nice list. I can come up with a few suggestions that would make it slightly better in my humble opinion, yet far from super competitive:

-Delegatus: I assume you took him for the Master-crafted upgrade as I don't see any Rite of War. I find power sword lacking in games full of artificer and terminator armour - your Warlord will struggle in challenge against even basic sergeant. If you want a master-crafted weapon that actually can threaten everyone take Solarite Gauntlet, it's way better than Fist AND is cheaper than power sword+delegatus upgrade.

-Havoc Launchers: quite expensive and simply useless against usual targets for lascannons, i wouldn't take them on anything but melee dreadnoughts.

-Leviathan: i prefer Siege Claw over Drill; Severing Cut is a nice and pretty unique ability and Claw is slightly cheaper, but frankly it's fully up to you.

Now if you were to follow these advice, you now have around 35 points left. I'm not sure if this list has enough anti-tank firepower. Melta bombs and HK missiles might help but you could also use this 35 points to upgrade Tactical Support Squad to Heavy Support Squad with either Autocannons or Missiles. Imperial Fists' Disciplined Fire gives them also Tank Hunters which makes them way more dangerous for light and medium vehicles.

Consider doing the following changes:

  • Switch to Tartaros armour and storms shields on your terminator squad. This will give you better movement (sweeping advance) and better invul. save (3+).
  • Switch out the tactical support squad with Calivers (10x = 225p) to a Heavy support squad with Culverins (10x = 335p). So the price difference is 50% more for a barebone squad but you will have 100% more damage output since Calivers are Heavy 2 and Culverins are heavy 4. Also you get a range increase from 30" to 45".
  • If you plan to drop pod your Leviathan and come in close on the enemy then I suggest you switch out the grav flux bombard to snippety claws and focus on taking out vehicles as good as infantry in close combat.
  • Power sword will be quite useless against other power armoured infantry squads since pretty much everybody takes artificier armour for their sergeants to tank saves. Better switching out your power swords to power axes.

I appreciate the input, unfortunately I forgot about this thread and have made quite a few changes since posting it. Here is the updated list. Still at 2000 points on the dot.

I’m also unsure about what other heavy support unit might be a good fit as I always hear a lot about how great the Leviathan is but not much else.
