Armiger Warglaive Melee Weapon Alternatives

Hello there fellow Knight players,

 

forgive me for saying how I feel, but the tiny stubby "chain-cleaver" thing the Armiger Warglaive comes with looks utterly stupid. In particular I dislike the "short and fat" look. It's not how I imagine a knightly weapon.

I know that Gadgets Plus makes alternative weapons for armigers but they share the same problem. My favorite look would be something like the cerastus knight lancer's lance.

Are you aware of any third party sword or lance for the armiger? Did you make any such conversion or have a good idea how to make one?

Nothing too difficult really. You cut off the head of the weapon, and add a 'pole' between the head and the 'body' of it. 

 

I actually used the barrel of a Helverin cannon on this one, but just a piece of metal rod like those used for pinning models would likely work just as well.

I went with a siege claw from the plastic ironclad dread.

I suppose a simple piece of ABS tube would make for a good lance shaft.

The tech heresy! Love that armiger with the skull he looks intimidating. Also like the take on the armiger with that drill fist. Looks awesome.

Agreed, the drill-fist is a great conversion.  I'm surprised it works as well as it does!
