While I can't paint while i am on vacation (it would have been impossible with the 38-40°C heatwave both here and at home anyway...), I am preparing some "Wulfen" (Primaris 'Specialists') for vow three!

The weapons are perfectly sized for them. Reiver Poses work well with the Claws, while the stances of Intercessors work well for the Hammers and Shields.

Now I only have to add a few more small details.

 

So my forges are still running hot! How is the rest of you doing!?

Kinsmen, I return to you again with news of a mighty potential ally who may yet join the ranks of the sixth, it is as yet unofficial but when have we ever played by the rules brothers ?

I Konnavaer of the Rout declare my new vow, a Repulsor Executioner armed with: (takes deep breath) A heavy laser destroyer, heavy onslaught gatling cannon, twin heavy bolter, two fragstorm grenade launchers, two storm bolters, a twin ironhail heavy stubber, icarus rocket pod and one more ironhail heavy stubber for a total of 305 points.

 

Subtle it is not.

 

I am on vacation in two days and will return on the 10th so my vow will begin in earnest then, I will keep checking in on you all in the meantime brothers, may you all find glory and victory in your battles to come.

I'd like to make this Vow #2 but I need a point deduction

The Sergeants have shoulder pad color

And I started work on the gold belts

I took them to my first ever GT and didn't want to show up with unpainted models :whistling:

Now they are ready for full paint scheme

Great to see momentum picking up!

 

@ TiguriusX: Very nice work indeed mate! I wish you had the time to work on the bases... As regards the new vow, I'd give it a 20% penalty - so it will drop to 115pts. Let me now if you have any serious objections. Keep in mind that I err on the safe side - I know these are less than 20% done...

 

@ Konnavaer: Impressive tank for sure... When you say unofficial, do the rules explicitly say it cannot be used by the SWs? 

 

@ Riku Eru: Very promising and very well posed... Look forward to see them done!

@ Petey: Wow, some very evocative and grim dark minis there! Excellent work man - congratulations! Love those yellow goggles!

 

@ Triszin: Do not throw the towel just yet brother. Remember, the ETL is not over until it's over. So keep going and, even if you fail, you'd still have some units done! :)

@ Triszin: Yeah, you probably got mixed-up with the previous years... But this year the event kicked off on June 1st (as opposed to May 1st or May 15th in the past). So end-date for this year is September 1st!

I Chazzmos will continue my stalking during E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Space Wolves and now make my second vow. On or before September 1st, 2019 I will complete:

 
  • Bjorn the Fell-handed [12 PL, 1CP, 216pts]: Assault cannon, Heavy flamer
  • Primaris Battle Leader [4 PL, 75pts]. Power axe and bolt carbine: Power axe
  • Primaris Rune Priest [7 PL, 108pts]: Psychic hood, Runic sword
  • Rune Priest in Phobos Armour [6 PL, 111pts]: Camo cloak, Force sword
  • Venerable Dreadnought [9 PL, 145pts] . Fenrisian Great Axe and Blizzard Shield: Blizzard shield, Fenrisian great axe

With a total value 655 points . Success will bring me sagas in the halls and failure will doom me to wear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end.
