Its great to see a flurry of completions and near completions! Keep up the hard work Guardsmen :D

 

As for myself, I have completed the characters for my vow and now the only thing between me and glory is a single squad of metal mordians, who are currently enjoying a nice detol bath!

I even used that new Contrast paint, Apothecary White, for the guns.  It didn’t work out how I thought it would, but after experimenting I’m glad I did.

I started on the Sisters last night :)

It's a new scheme I had saved for a long time and only now got around to trying it. Hopefully it works out! They're a little dark but should look better once I get the Pallid Witch Flesh on them :tu:

Bullgryns are done so that means vow 3 is completed. 

I Lord Blackwood rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Astra Militarum and vow to complete One Commissar Yarrick  1 infantry squad and 1 unit of crusaders numbering 10 crusaders  of total value 290 points on or before September 1st, 2019. Success will bring me eternal glory and failure will doom me to wear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end

I Gilt_Imp rise to the ETL and vow the following for the Guard on or before Sept 1st:

1 x Canis Rex Knight = 450pts

 

1 x Crusader Knight = 509pts

(thermal cannon, avenger cannon, heavy flamer, melta gun, stormspear rocket pod)

 

1 x Crusader Knight = 521pts

(rapid fire battle cannon, avenger cannon, heavy flamer, heavy stubber, stormspear rocket pod)

 

1 x Acastus Porphyrion Knight = 895pts

(2 x twin magna lascannons, 2 x lascannons, helios defence missiles)

 

 

Plus

1 Belisarius Cawl = 190pts

1 Onager Dunecrawler = 119pts (neutron laser and heavy stubber plus cognis heavy stubber)*

 

 

 

Total = 3376pts

I ws scared to go to the AoD Outposts, now I'm afraid to go to the Guard... 

 

This is magnificent progress guys - really impressive stuff!!! Not only you're keeping the pace, not only you're making some chunky vows (what was that Gilt_Imp?), the quality is outstanding too! Bravo!

Right, so my second vow:

I, Colonel Bindoff, of the Hallamite regiments, hereby vow to complete two leman russ battle tanks with battle cannon, Lascannon and plasma sponsons to the value of 368 points. Failure to complete will doom me and my regiment etc etc.

Captain Semper; this photo gives away the fact that although this is the basecoat I have in fact applied a metallic primer and salt. Is this ok? I should have taken a photo at first stage. The commissar is not happy.

By way of penance I am also vowing to finish these five LRBTs which are sitting at various stages of completion. I have not included their points!
