Vow Complete!

I know you people are MACHINES and I am just a puny human - I have really struggled to finish my 10-man squad, but it's done.

Things I have learned:

• Rebasing is a pain. Actually it was nearly a genuine pain but the knife missed any arteries and just landed in the dead skin left from all the previous times I've cut my thumb.
• Edge highlighting is a pain. I promised myself the terminators would go to whichever legion I liked better: IX or XX, but XX scheme is a lot quicker ...
• Me on Forgeworld website: "I'm not paying that for moulded shoulder pads! Decals look way better anyway." Me doing my decals: "Aarrggh! It only looks good when the pros do it! Wish I'd bought moulded shoulder pads..."
• Mark IV and Mark VI not quite as compatible as you think - the backpack distance to shoulders seems different. So I had to change who had what backpack.

Seriously though, I really underestimated how long prepping and getting the Warhound ready would take. It took a serious amount of time on that. Guess I thought with how quickly I painted Magnus, the knights would be just as easy, boy was I wrong!

ETL VII IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

NO NEW COMPLETIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED PAST THIS POINT!

 

That was the most savage ETL that I can remember!!!
 
Now I will go through all the Outposts to make a LAST UPDATE later toady. After that, I need to compile the results and present them in a meaningful manner in the Final Report. This will come in a couple of days along with the relevant badges.
 
What I need is, after the LAST UPDATE, for each participant to check his/her status in the first page of his/her Outpost and notify me if there is something amiss so I can correct it. Do that publicly in the Outposts as my inbox is filled and I have no time to clean it up.
 
Once you check your status lay back and wait for the final report. If you have any questions feel free to raise them. You can freely discuss the event in your Outpost, post pics of your vows and generally have a great and relaxed time until the Final Report.

Alright ya lovely lot, well done.  Well done the bunch of ya.  Seriously, Altis, that last minute one there may have shaved a few years off my life expectancy.   

 

Brother Pheidas, and Eternal, my dudes, that's crazy and awesome to see ya got it all in under the wire (and i n spectacular fashion might I add.  Seriously, that  a light strike company just showing up is just rocking, Eternal.  Got me scared too.)  Pheidas, I love those reavers... gah, I may have to add some myself.  They're seriously perfect. 

 

Lamebeard, man those Angels are great.  Seriously, like Semper said, I love the gritty look of them for 30K.  Not a huge fan of the super clean and shiny Bling Angels trying to out rococo the Emperor's Children. Those just work.  Oh, as for transfers.... wiiiindeeeeeex.  Wiiiiiiindeeeeex (that is essentially what Microsol is). 

 

Florida, ya did us real proud.  Everyone did.  I'd mention more but it'll be a list.  You all really did earn it. 

 

If I wasn't looking after a flooded farm and sick pony I'd have maybe gotten to that blasted knight.  -sighs- oh well.  All I got is .Gif reaction images to express myself at this point.
