antique_nova
Oh right, I guess watching Duncan's reaction with British music in the background didn't help. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/06/30/coming-soon-heresy-incarnate/ Now, all can think about is Chaos Knights sporting mustaches as they charge into bttle, while the pilots engage in various daemon British tea rituals to pilot said knight. And this is all coming from a Brit as well. Oh and the Chaos Knight pilot chants? Dark Shepherd 1 Back to top
bluntblade
For starters, keep reminding yourself that those Engliah Knights often preferred to parle français (and I know I've mangled that)
Leif Bearclaw
Actually, not really. IIRC 'English Knights' (more accurately 'Knights who owed ultimate fealty to the King of England', because medieval times) would've spoken a variety of regional dialects, whereas 'French' as we know it derives from the dialect spoken in the Ile-de-France region. So most would've probably spoken either variants of Anglo-Norman, or the more southern Langue d'oc/Occitan dialects. This is also assuming we're talking 'classic medieval', as 'English' began to re-emerge as the primary language in the mid 1300s. so English Knights and aristocrats would've been speaking primarily English for a good chunk of the Late Medieval period. This was something of an unexpected tangent . As for OP, Brits make the best bad guys. Everyone knows that. Custodian Athiair
As for OP, Brits make the best bad guys. Everyone knows that. This is the exact reason. All villains are British
WarriorFish
Please remember that the remit of the B&C is clear; adding a reference to 40k is not an excuse to talk about whatever you wish. I don't think it's much to ask that this is respected. Slave to Darkness and BLACK BLΠFLY 2 Back to top
