Army Update  7/22/2019 

The ETL has been a good motivator for me to get things done , I have been able to push  hard through some stuff that has been waiting a long while to get worked on. 

Pretty much everything I have can be leveraged in one way or another for Current 8th Edition Astra Militarum 

If nothing else I appreciate the truly unique look and feel of the army.

They looks really cool. What doctrine do you use forthem in 40k?

 

Solar Auxilia are really strong in 30K, although I feel that Imperial Militia, or Renegades are even better in term of possibility

Your army looks great all together, can't beat army shots! The ETL is great for getting things done (a lot of my Guard can say the same!) ;) What's next on your list? I spy a commissar who needs painting... :P

Working through the last of my first 40 riflemen 

Got distracted by a Dracosan Armored Transport that i  absolutely needed to paint 

Unfortunately it has no 40k Analogue so its one of those " incase I play 30k again models "

These look great! Really awesome models. Painted very well too. Do you have any fluff for their regiment or anything? I always thought that if I brought any of these guys into 40k it would be as imperial navy voidsmen. The resemblance with some old 40k art is spot on.

I feel ya about the dracosian. They’re gorgeous models, and you did very well with yours, but I’ve got two I’ll likely never paint because 30k is dead here. Here’s to hoping FW gives them rules soon (ever.)

Blackwood, these are fantastic.  The S.A. models have always been some of the top levels of gorgeous/awesome models in the entirety of Warhammer (especially their wonky, but at the same time charming, awesome, and endearing vehicles), and you've done them some pretty hardy justice!  Hopefully you can use them a couple times at least, I've always held off just because there is literally zero 30k players in any of the play circles within an hour drive of me.

Again, really, really, REALLY good job on this stuff, man.  Top notch S.A. love and work!

Lovely army, love this range and you nailed your color scheme. Well painted. How do you run them in 40k? How do you represent sergeants, special weapons etc?

finished up  some new models. Carnodon is a 10/10  kit i  will likely try to get my hands on another one. Really fun and easy build. 
Going to be trying it out on the tabletop running Tallarn next Game I get a chance to play.
