New Squad type - Hellfuries?

Well he might have interpreted it wrong but he does have a point. Bolter Inceptors do have T5 and 6 S5 AP-1 D1 shots just like Chaincannon Havocs. ^^

 

The chaincannon is 8 shots, no? But I agree, they're really similar weapon profiles (comapring per model). Inceptors have slightly worse range but are faster units and both of them can move and shoot without penalty on a T5 platform. So SM already has that niche pretty well sorted between inceptors and intercessors I'd say, besides CSM and SM don't need more parity.

 

Primaris melta squad is what I want, it's an iconic weapon not yet fielded by primaris and would make things like the impulsor more interesting (assuming they don't have fly or ar gravis). Just please make them reroll wounds against vehicles, S8 isn't enough otherwise..

Ah yeah I think you are right about the 8 shots. Well Inceptors can deep strike, FLY and have 3 wounds per model so it's not like they are exact copies of eachother anyway. :P

Of course, they're hardly identical. I guess my point is, if say hellblasters got the reaper chaincannon as a new weapon choice I wouldn't be upset about it but knowing that inceptors exist I wouldn't be all that jazzed about it either. More options are seldom bad but when the line is relatively sparse like the primaris one is I'd rather every release fill a more needed niche than strenghten what already exists in the lineup.
