Iron Father Conversion

I've been working on a named character conversion for a friend in a campaign we are about to start for iron father Ferrios, please let me know what you think or if you have any ideas.

I've been a little worried I've been going over the top.

It's been my moons since I last did iron hands, allot of green stuffing and gap filling left to do.

I've included a marine for size comparison.

Outstanding job! Very very Iron Hands here. Not sure if you are playing WYSIWYG or not, but if you are I think you might be missing a heavy bolter? Maybe you're using that 1970s space ray guy as the heavy bolter proxy? 

 

Ohhh!!! One suggestion I can make here is on the base! You'll want a 40mm base for him.

We do play wysiwyg but as a converted weapon as his stand in for the weird Bolter the iron father has, it's just converted from 30k terminator heavy Flamer, 30k grav gun parts and a ammo feed I can't remember where I found, I would say Agressors but it's resin.

 

Your spot on with the base, I just stick them on any old base, even square until it's finished and painted because I tend to make scenic bases so they tell a story.

Not sure what his will be yet but a crushed skull underfoot like the start terminator is mighty tempting.

I just wish parts were not under coated before I started as the black hides allot of detail until the paint is on.

For sure. It still looks really good! Be sure to share photos once he is all painted up! :D
