What armies can use the Imperial Space Marine?

My aunt got me the Imperial Space Marine for Christmas dunno how she found it said she was out shopping and saw it somewhere I dunno but I don't see the data sheet in SW or DW those are the armies I'm doing. What other armies are allowed to have it? I want to paint it but I'm not sure what to do, any ideas?

Lol of course that's where it would be I'm a dummy just threw the box in the corner after I built it.

 

So it says "One space marine in your army can be replaced with the Imperial Space Marine at no additional points cost"

 

Is he usable in 8th edition or was it canned?

He can be found on the Adeptus Astartes, Blood Angels, Dark Angels and Space Wolves Legends pdfs, so he’s still legal as long as your opponent or tournament allows those datasheets...

Cool thanks guys been really wanting to paint him, just been like overwhelmed trying to figure out if I was able to use him in one of my armies. I'll go with SW since that's the other army I have and if the other player allows it I'll use him. He reminds me of having the Golden Gun in 007 Goldeneye lol.

You could always use him as a captain with master cadted bolter

He is legal in Matched play, so your opponent can't really tell you no
