illuminated holograph, third battle of Gərār promethium docks

The Hypatos will be denied the fuel for his machines, nucleonic fire will cleanse the hive as well as their souls.

5 more marines done, this unit will also have a tactical shield bearer and a marine with a grenade launcher. The shield bearer is still on the workbench and I'm not decided on how to do the grenade launcher but as my vacation start next week so the third squad should also be finished soon.

WIP Invictor, one arm and the base left.

I'm waiting for some explosive reactive armour bricks that I hope will be in the right scale.

The Invictor is basically done, some armor plates are glued on but not shaded weathered as that is where the ERA bricks will go. Still trying to get a better photo setup and it's moving in the right direction but I'm not entirely there yet.

Damn, brother, you have made that questionable walker look great! How did you do it?

The cockpit is a 3d print from pop goes the monkey, the barrels of the autocannon was changed to the Icarus autocannon ones to give it better proportions and the heavy bolter was mounted and paired with a revenwing searchlight that I imagine works like a Shtora-1 so it became less of an Avatar cosplay.

That doesn't sound like much work at all and the results are well worth it. Well done!

Looking really good!!!

Thanks mate, I happy with the way this army is turning out.

Indeed, building it wasn't too bad and he will get a friend soon.

You're a skilled painter. Did Great Crusade-era specialists (Techmarines, Librarians, Apothecaries) leave their armor in Legion colors, instead of in colors to identify their field of expertise (red for Techmarines, blue for Librarians, white for Apothecaries)?

G R E A T  idea with the white helmet! Unorthodox and a bit gundam-style perhaps, but it looks fantastic. Love the wrench and the usage of the Assault Bolter!

As black hides the details of the helmet and I wanted him to be a bit off compared to the other marines as he is part of the machine cult, I was thinking about red or white and went with white as it really displays the helmet.

I also wanted more of a combat engineer feel so I needed another close combat weapon that wasn't an axe and I think the Impulsor wrench is brutal enough.

Thanks mate. When looking for inspiration I found a bunch of horus heresy techmarine that had their armor either metal or in the legion colors. i think that the red background to the Fist and the white helmet separates him enough to show his special status.

Finished the Invictor today as I got the resin ERA bricks in the post. Got some other fun bits so now I really want to start on my Impulsors and gladiators.

Good job on the up-armored Invictor. Hope that's not an oil barrel on his base- I don't think the barrel exploding the way it would in a Hollywood action movie, will do the warsuit any good.

Thanks, it's a promethium barrel alright but don't worry this one sturdy invictor.

That invictor is solid!

Excellent work, in keeping with the whole thread so far

Weathering and transfers are really well executed as are the subtle positional changes and additions. Top stuff

Thanks mate, work has begun on the other one in the same style. I'm really looking forward to do my Impulsors I have some cool plans for them.

awesome models! really nice paintwork and full of character

Thanks mate, happy to hear it!

Started work on some bladeguard, the knightly look don't mend that well with my dieselpunk style of my Imperial Fists so I have started work on turning them into heavy close quarter specialists.

Lacking the technology to produce power weapons in sufficient quantities for the reborn legion the schematics for the heat skeggox is dug up from the dark vaults of Zimmad-5. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Leaving no room for finesse it's wielded by the killer elite of the legion in brutal efficiency.

Got the legs done for the next Invictor so I decide to start work on the paint test model for my Bladeguard squad. Happy with the result as I was following a guide on molten weapons but the technique didn't work well with this blade type so I had to do some experimentation.
