Feedback on Dark Angels Zone Mortalis List

Hi Folks,

 

I'm putting together a fluffy Dark Angels Zone Mortalis list, which uses the Cataphractii Dark Angels Praetor model as a Delagatus and the Assault Force RoW. After thinking about the list I posted previously in this thread, which had Tartaros Terminators in the Troops Slot, I decided to replace them with a Terminator Command Squad in Cataphractii armor in my HQ slot to get the bonuses that come with these Terminators. I had to make some changes to the weapon load out on the Contemptor, but everything else has stayed the same. I think this list presents a bigger threat to more units on the table, so take a look and let me know what you think.

Hey! Don't really have experience playing 30K so I don't know how useful my advice would be, but I have a couple ideas:

- I think it would be nice to have a rad-missile launcher on the destroyers. The debuff to resistance combined with mastery of the blade means your destroyers will be hitting and wounding on 3+ against other standard legion troops.

 

- I'm not sure if the points add up, but would remove the plasma blaster from the command squad give you enough points for the swap? I know it's removing quite a bit of ap2 firepower from the army, but I'm not sure it is worth to risk blowing up one of your 6 terminators with his own gun, and these guys should get stuck into melee as fast as possible, so ideally you won't get many shots out of the blaster.

I've talked with a lot of folks and the consensus is that it's worth it popping on a Plasma weapon on terminators if you're going after TEQs. I run the risk of Gets Hot, but I may just put the weapon on my Standard Bearer since it has two wounds to take one of these hits. I'm going to switch out the Destroyers for the Interemptors since that's the Legion's Destroyer equivalent and I want to stick with the fluff but will think about your suggestion if I keep this version of this list.
