Doctrine progression in Army with multiple chapters

I haven't found nor ever heard any clarification on whether different detachments and/or chapters will all rock the same doctrine...like say I have ultramarines, salamanders and wolves...

 

Can I use ultramarines Adaptive tactics to stay in devastator for an extra turn while salamanders decide to move to tactical and stay for 1 extra turn while wolves just move to assault by 3rd turn?

 

Can ultramarines and potentially deathwatch(if the let them keep the strat) control the doctrine progression for all detachments/chapters?

Adaptive Strategy doesn't exist anymore. It got Errata'd out because now we are forced to proceed through the doctrines.

 

Combat Doctrine always talks about your army, not detachment or chapter, so I'd say it's always the same doctrine that's active for your whole army regardless of whether they are Ultramarines or Salamanders or Space Wolves.
