I began working on my Terminator chaplain based on the leviathan captain.

Just waiting for the biker chaplain from hachette combat patrol to get the crozius

Had a few minutes of spare time before going to work this morning so I managed to finish off the bases of my sternguard squad and to take nicer pictures

Yes. But the larger the number the easier it is. That's why they look good on top of the bikes. The numbers in the lightning Bolt on their shoulder pads... Not so much. They're done with a micron pen. But writing on a round surface is not really natural...

Inspired by the leaked crucible of champions rules (even though, once again, I don't play at all) I decided to tweak my Gravis captain from Dark Imperium and make it my 9th company captain, equiped with an inferno gauntlet

Rules wise, he's a Champion of the chapter with a gravis specialism, armed with an inferno pistol, a power fist and a master crafted power weapon :

He got a new pauldron trim colour to match his new company :

My next drop of combat patrol was delivered today. It contained the terminators and a psychophage.

Being a builder at heart, I just couldn't let them sit in their blister...

They're the monopose ones from leviathan but damn are they nice and big!

Terminators were one of my first purchases when I started the hobby, the plastic 2nd ed monopose ones. I also got a box when the now old terminators were released which were already quite an improvement on the previous version. But with this last iteration, they have really come a long way.

I was also surprised by the relatively small number of parts on the tyranid monster. Just 10 pieces of plastic including the base:jawdrop:

Being easy to build, there was quite a visible gap between the two halves of its carapace that was fixed with some sprue glue.
