SITZKRIEG!
Hey folks, despite GW taking down my previous Winged Hussar Primaris model (but curiously leaving literally thousands of other 40k inspired ones including the parts that I used to make it and my Primarisamurai and Ultramarine), I decided to try and convert my first Space Wolf 3d model. I'm definitely NOT a sculptor myself so I use freely available parts others in the community have uploaded and convert them to my own uses. In more traditional terms, the below is more of a conversion using an online digital bits box rather than me sculpting the parts from scratch digitally. For example, the wolf on the cape was from a fantasy floor bear rug and I cut/reshaped/bent it to try and match the flow of the cape. There was a recent take on Krom Dragongaze uploaded using the same base model by MrMcAngry that I previously used for a different Blood Angel Lieutenant so I decided to tweak him as well into something more customized for a potential RPG character. I hope to run a print this upcoming weekend with these two models (probably in smaller true 28mm scale rather than 40mm for primaris) so will update the thread with actual model pics if I do.
