Uff sensible topic for a fan base that had its fair share of getting gutted lately. Unfortunately we lads like the BT exactly because its not standardized, so its only obvious to assume we will go against it.

Think the supplements were already a low key codex split, and a way for GW to make extra bucks. Funny that BT got the shaft on that one aswell...

Im all up for moving on to primaris codex its obvious we aint getting og marines back unless they bring it back in 3 or 4 years like they are doing with fantasy.

Hang on tight.

PS: Hymnblade neat screen capture, but that's a slippery slope as far as data collection goes. Next thing you know will be squatting GSC, Alpha Legion, White Scars and Harlequins (actually I'm okay with that last one j/k kinda lol)

I mean, I wouldn't go so far as to call it "data", haha. Post counts on a fan-run forum aren't a very direct measure of anything. But when Black Templars have generated more discussion than every C:SM chapter combined, it seems a bit implausible that we're some tiny niche interest.

Most of those posts are just black Templar’s players repeating to each other how upset they are that they don’t have their own book. If we used that as the determining factor for who gets their own book it would just be giving books out to whoever whines the most.

Ouch man. I’m not saying there’s at least a bit of truth but Ouch .... a little empathy for Bros who invested heavy in 3rd and have stayed dedicated. :)

Obviously my second favorite Chapter even though it’s totally opposite of what I think simulates a modern (sci-fi) professional military organization

While the BT subforum is prolific enough to generate almost half the posts and a third of the topics in the C:SM subforum it's not more than the rest combined (53.1k vs 46,3k replies, and 2,2k vs 1,1k topics).

Evidently we're done discussing the actual topic: "Will we see a Primaris only codex in 9th?"

Feel free to start a new discussion for any other appropriate tangent that has been created.
