So, here's the deal. I've gotten my hands on a 3D printer and generally figured out how to use it. I've also gotten my hands on print files for a bunch of visually coherent sci-fi bases. I want to print and paint these bases in advance of my copy of Indomitus showing up - both the Nihilakh Dynasty and the Dark Angels will be based in the same style. Do any of you know the base sizes packaged in Indomitus?

Going by this unboxing, and this video and this video (particularly the latter starting @ 17.22 where you have the entire list in the build guide, plus the sizing diagram)

The total count of sizes as far I can see from a screenshot:

are:

1 x 28mm

34 x 32mm

18 x 40mm

3 x 50mm

2 x 65mm

3 x 90mm oval (presumably the existing 90mm x 52mm)

from glimpses of the build guide or mentioned in the first link, I've seen the following models base sizes

Necrons:

Skorpekh Destroyer Lord and the Canoptek Reanimator - 65mm

3 Skorpekh Destroyers - 50mm

Overlord - 40mm

Plasmancer - 32mm

Royal Warden - 32mm

6 Scarabs - 40mm

20 Warriors - 32mm

Marines:

Captain, Lieutenant, Chaplain, Judiciar, Ancient - 40mm

3 outrider bikes - 90mm oval

10 assault intercessors - 32mm

I have yet to see the base sizes assigned to these last models, so these remaining ones are my best guess.

by eyeballing the models next to them in the big pic, I reckon

3 Blade Guard veterans - 40mm

3 Eradicators - 40mm

That leaves 1x28mm and 2x32mm unassigned, which by process of elimination belong to the last models in the box:

2 cryptothralls - 32mm

and the canoptek plasmacyte - 28mm

Remember that those sizes are for the top of the base, the actual base footprint is a couple of mm larger as the edges slope out.

I bought some 60mm mdf bases for my old metal Dreads that didn't come with bases, they're about 4-5mm too small when compared to the plastic GW Dread base. I'd add about 7% to the top size to get the footprint, but I'll let you work out the trig and angle of slope you need

I'm not sure that's right. I've just measured a handful of GW bases I had on my desk, admittedly with just a ruler. The 32mm, 40mm, 50mm and 65mm bases are all that diameter for the bottom outer rim, the top flat part is about 3mm smaller diameter. If they're pre-made designs for standard sizes, then they should match.

Yeah, exactly, you're saying it measures 65mm, but GW calls it 60mm.

"Model is supplied with a 60mm scenic base."  https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Space-Marine-Dreadnought

Mine isn't for a dreadnought though, it's a shattered dominion base which is listed as 65mm, which is what it is. The others are plain black plastic ones.

That said, it looks like you're right - but only for the dreadnought 60mm base, not the other sizes. GW replaced the flat 60mm dreadnought base with a sculpted one, that's actually closer to 64.5mm at the bottom, but kept calling in 60mm. I wouldn't be surprised if other 40k '60mm' bases are the same.

The rest of the sizes though are the listed diameter at the bottom.
