Karhedron
For us, that would be Dante obviously, for the Wolves maybe Grimnar, a generic DW Watchmaster and perhaps a RW bike champion for DA. Dante seems an obvious choice for us. Wolves are different Grimnar is a new plastic, as is Ulrik and Ragnar is now Primaris. Maybe Njal? For DAs I would say Azrael is just as likely a candidate as Dante. Vardus
Assuming that it is only one new Primaris character with each supplement, my thoughts are thus; Blood angels - Dante (possibly with duo Sanguinary Guard) or Brother Corbulo/Sanguinary Priest, Dark Angels - Azrael (most likely) or generic Interrogator Chaplain, Deathwatch - being all plastic already, this is a little harder to guess but I would go with a Librarian or Chaplain here, Space Wolves - Ragnar, yes just Ragnar as he will be released as a stand alone model separate from the Prophecy of the Wolf. As regards other Primaris Blood Angels units I can see them releasing more upgrade packs, even with weapons in the kits to make Tactical/Assault/Devastator squads out of the various Primaris kits to represent the new two wound Space Marines. dice4thedicegod
The thing with Dante is... are they saving his rubicon for a dramatic moment (related to his visions of a golden warrior defending the emperor)? Blindhamster
seems unlikely to be left that long? that is a moment that is literally end of the setting tbh Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365746-what-ba-units-have-to-be-primarisd/page/3/#findComment-5587122 Share on other sites

Vermintide
Dante crosses the Rubicon and due to his incredibly advanced years, even for an Astartes, he dies in the process. However, though some interference of unknown warp energies, and resonating, psychic inherited memories deep within the gene seed, which interface with Cawl's borderline heretek machinery... He is resurrected. The spirit of the Sanguinor, which has long sought a worthy host, has taken residence in Dante's dying body, and he is reborn, revitalised, as Sanguinius reincarnate. The Golden Angel himself. ... I'm fire bombing GW HQ if this doesn't happen, anyway. Also: Regarding specialised HQ units that need Primarifying, most of our named characters get +1A and +1W over their "vanilla" brethren already, and the points just about match up too. So in effect we already have a Primaris Sanguinary Priest, for example, in Brother Corbulo. Astorath has a Primaris Chaplain statline, alongside getting to fly. Of course I'm sure there will be an official version before too long, but until then, this has been helping to assuage my list-building OCD somewhat Edited August 22, 2020 by Vermintide Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365746-what-ba-units-have-to-be-primarisd/page/3/#findComment-5590309 Share on other sites
SnorriSnorrison
Also our characters will most likely all get another wound so they’re very close to being Primaris anyways, just with jump packs and the ability to enter drop pods, Land Raiders and Storm Ravens. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/365746-what-ba-units-have-to-be-primarisd/page/3/#findComment-5590584 Share on other sites
Adorondak
Personally, I'm expecting both lemartes and corbulio to be retired as playable minis and showing up only in the fluff. I'm pretty sure we'll never see a furioso redemptor of any type ether. I also wouldn't be terribly surprised to discover sanguinary priest were axed as well. As far as DC goes, I'm pretty sure we've gotten all the DC primaris we're going to get, and so long as we can mix normal and assault interccesors in a single unit I'm fine with that too (especially if they give us a few more cc weapon options) As for dante, sg and the sg ancient becoming primaris, I'm hoping too see the sg be a 3-6 unit sold in boxes of four. Why four? Because I would love to see it be able to build ether a dante and 3 sg, or a sg ancient and 3 sg, meaning 2 boxes makes both characters and a full unit. But that is totally blue sky wish listing...
