Eliminators camo Cloak and new Raven Guard trait

Camo Cloak says "If this unit benefits from cover". Raven Guard Trait says "If over 18" unit benefits from light cover", rare rules says "If a rule improves  save while not in terrain, it works if unit benefits from cover" and "If unit benefits from cover = light cover"

 

So does a unit of Raven Guard Eliminators in the open but over 18" away receive a +2 to their saves?

What if they are over 12" but under 18"?

 

Is "receives benefit of light cover/dense cover" the same as "receives the benefit of cover"?

The Rare Rules clarifies that anything that "receives the benefit of cover" means it gets light cover. This is because many things had the ability in 8th when there was only 1 type of cover. 

Newer rules are using "receives benefit of light cover" since there are multiple types of cover in 9th. 

 

So yes, your Eliminators get +2 to their saves for being in light cover.
