Awesome man and incoming is some description. I thought of a cool one i think on my way into work.

Also do I need to use up a Cybernetic slot for there to be a visual link between the Cyber Owl and Lugh?

As an edit:

I'm having fun with this personality.

Have a quick look at the way it's all going so far Steel, if you wouldn't mind?  Just a litmus test to check on tone, content, flavour, that sort of thing.

I want to make sure that this is working for you.

Cheers.

Out and about with the wife. Finally done with Night shift so I should get better with my timeliness more so actually finishing my character stats and xp usage.

Anyways, awesome entries to start with. I am enjoying the dynamic between the Watch Captain and the Inquisitor.

@Tech, good!  Can't wait to see what you have for us :)

@ Steel, I know I've thrown a lot at you, but I'm hoping a breather will let you create freely.  Keep me posted on how it's coming together for you or if you need a change on anything.  Door's open as always.

MR.

No problem MR, I'm going to take a breather over the weekend (lots of family stuff to do and try to enjoy turning 38 on Sunday)...

I think one thing that Raziel is going to try and do is find the contact that has more related information for him for the task assigned to him by his Interrogator Chaplin before he was dispatched to the death watch.

Either way, I'll likely post something on monday.

Woah!  Am sorry I missed your birthday, Steel!

Teach me for reading things on a small screen!

Many happy returns squire, and remember, with years come wisdom

@Tech, no sweat - life comes first, as always.

Post up, hope it meets with your expectations.

@Xin:

Thanks Brother! I hope everything is going good on your end and that you find Raziel amusing.

Fantastic, as always Steel :smile.:

Will have something suitable up for you soon!

Am working over some ideas for requisition, I'll pop them up as well.

Mazer or Steel, when one of you get a chance can you help me add up xp points for Lugh? I think I am reading this right but I am not sure. I want to add Concealment and Awareness skills so that would be 1000 by itself.

Also I think he will be baseline Tactical as that is the only one that I see as close to being a sniper specialist. Unfortunately I don't have good translations for all that and how it normally fits with the Bloodmoon Hunters rule wise yet. I had some.

I did post in my guy's thread. Hope you guys like it. Sorry that it is shorter than I like.

Firstly, an excellent post in the RP thread, very thematic and brooding!  No need to apologise for size, it's how you get into the moment that counts.

Secondly, no worries with the technical stuff, it's what we're for after all.

With your Specialty (or Class if you're a DnD veteran), a Tactical Marine is a good way to go.  Balanced abilities and all-rounders and the backbone of any Space Marine Chapter.  You get the choice of a couple of free abilities - one of which isn't going to be terribly useful as a Kill Marine, so Bolter Mastery would be the best pick here.  This gives you +10 to BS tests and +2 to Damage rolls, but only with a Bolt Weapon.

With Concealment and Awareness, Lugh already starts with them at the Trained level, which means at the moment, if you have to make a test to hide or to spot something, you may do so at your full stat.

Unless you want to bump those skills up to +10, you don't need to spend any xp. :smile.:  A lot of skills and abilities in the books is duplicated for the purposes of GM character building, so don't worry if things look like copypasted!

If you have the book, I would suggest maybe looking at the Raven Guard Advances table (First Founding) p18, since all the stealthy stuff is buried in there.  It will be more useful to you than Steel, as he's riding a saddle-rocket   (I would recommend Guerrilla Training, as without it, you will be taking penalties of -40 on your stealth tests whilst in power armour!)

Take a peek and see what you'd like, and we'll easily go from there.  Everything is malleable at the moment, so if you're not feeling the sniper build, we can work it another way, no problem.

@Steel, I'm working on my next post for you as well.

Just don't forget to update your character sheets with anything you purchase or acquire, chaps. :smile.:

Hope that helps.

MR.

That helps alot. I have the books on my hardrive at home. (When I can get my computer to work. Power issues. ) But I will take your suggestion of Guerrilla Training. (I will figure out the XP for that. ) Basically for Lugh, what I am going for is he is new to the whole being a brother thing and has mostly been a scout/sniper all this time so that is what he does. But as time goes on he will find a kind of hunting pattern he prefers. Mostly I am thinking he will be a Ambush artist with some tech skills that he picked up from his Artificers. (i.e. Security or something) and Definitely will pick up Bolter Mastery as they do make good sniper versions of Bolters.

Yes, absolutely you can use it as part of your IA, what you create here is yours :)

Whilst a great honour, (and I mean it) citing me as any kind of creative mind is a dangerous thing! :D

How are you doing with your build?  Are things coming together?

MR.

Things are coming together. Basically what isn’t filled in at the moment I am filling in to boost awareness and stealth skills at the moment. 1000 isn’t that much lol. Other than that I think it’s pretty complete. Oh yea I still need to roll for wounds and add strength boost for bionic arms.
