Terminator with Nemesis Daemon Hammer

Unsure where the best place to post finished models is in our forum. Halls of Titan seems to be for WIPs, and Silver Fire of Dawn is for challenge minis. What if I just made a Terminator for fun?

Hope you like him! Tried something new with the hammer.

Yeah - nice pose on that boy.  Getting straight pointing arms on Terminators is sometimes a struggle. - nice work and paint too!  I love the blue glowy Nemesis weapons even though I cant paint them well

Very fine work there Brother:thumbsup:

Where to post finished models:happy.: .....hmmm...... good question. I'll post a new thread for that, move all of these posts there, and link it to the GK Resources list. My schedule is packed, but I should have this up by end of day.

Don't forget to post this great model in the + HALL OF HONOUR + so everyone can see it.

Looks smashing! (See what I did?) Very nice work, I really like the scrollwork, I've always been a little afraid of giving it a go, any tips?

Thanks!

I have three Micron pens that I bought years and years ago. Red and brown for the scrollwork, and then black for heraldry and whatnot. I use the 05 size. Strongly recommend!

Maybe kind of a heretical question, but would painting those scribblings with a toothpick work? Edited by Weltbild

Could, theoretically. I've never tried.

Hail, Fraters of the Halls of Titan. Whether you've just put the last touch on your Paladin, put the last period on your masterpiece of Grey Knights fiction, finished your Grey Knights army, or whatever Grey Knights project you've completed, post it here in + THE RELIQUARY + so all may gaze upon it with awe.

Don't forget to post your completed projects in the + HALL OF HONOUR + as well, so the rest of the galaxy can see your splendid work. Also, don't forget to post in the other Grey Knights showcases (The Grand Masters and Brother-Captains thread, The Librarians thread, The Dreadnoughts thread and The Nemesis Dreadknights thread). You can never have too much coverage:wink:

Sick names, from the Netflix series right?

Yeah was gonna say, someone's been watching Knightfall  neat little series tbh, actually somewhat historically accurate, if a little cheesy at times - but I defs get why a frater would name his Brotherhood after them Templar bosses!

**Also I love that Brotherhood Champion kitbash!

Yup the A&E Series Knightfall on Netflix. Other Members will have Knight Templar names.

Thats why Gaiwain has a Daemon hammer

I rattle can them chaos black then rattle can leadblecher once they are nuln oil the armor then dry brush grey Knight steel

Thanks for that Brother. I like that your army has none of the blue highlight that GW uses on their GK's. Nothing wrong with the blue highlight (it actually looks nice, but not on GK's imo), it's just my personal taste. In my tiny mind, I want my Grey Knights to look like Grey Knights and not Blue Knights.

I've also seen shading on GK's done with Agrax Earthshade to good effect. I'm going to do a couple of test models (one with Nuln and one with Agrax) and see what I like best.

Once again, great work:yes:

Shouldn't they just be Grey? :P

One thing I don't get, is why people insist on painting Grey Knights as steel coloured astartes when novelia/lore clearly and always refers to them as silver-coloured angels. Shouldn't the colour scheme by that logic be silver?

I fail to find that post constructive or humorous.
