Let's regroup, recover, and the scavenge. If we're lucky we can either use undamaged Wolfquad or tie it to the Goliath to tow. Maybe Aria can use scavenge the damaged Wolfquad for parts and repair the damaged section of the Goliath.

I had anticipated that Semi Structured time might need to go to two turns depending on actions and rolls, but I think it is safe to end it now.

I’ll do a narrative update tonight after I get home, at whci hpoint we can move on from the ambus location if everybody is ready, but do feel free to discuss plans/questions here and do narrative stuff over there for anything prior to departure.

Kazimir or Ariel can drive the Wolfquad while the other drives David. Towing is also an option, but will incur a Ordinary (+10) Driving test per hour of travel

You may be able to scavenge some parts from the damaged wolfquad with a good roll, I guess Tech Use for carful work or Strength for rough work.

You cannot repair David right now, but there will be opportunities later.

Kazimir retrieving his sword is still a strength test as before, but if you fail you can just try again and narrate accordingly. Do note that a cumulative total of 5 or more DoF before passing the test may result in ‘bad things’.

Ariel should probably drive the Wolfquad but Kazimir is willing if need be. I want to recover any more weapons, armor, armor pieces, and equipment we can but I am willing to get to a camp part of narration. Kazimir will need a Tech Use? right for healing? or maybe Rivia can help him on that at camp. And I think she should do the tech use for part recovery from the damaged quad.

My thought would be to once Ariel confirms no further enemy action, we then scavenge and recover equipment. After that- we find a safe campsite and Ravia can help Kaz recover and work on repairing the Goliath.

Autosanguine and Prosanguine are internal systems, so Ravia cannot help with Tech Use here unless Kazimir wants to submit to more major surgery.

Further to my post in the other thread you will be able to seek some medical attention whichever way you go, but the quality will wary.

As for recovering resources, you can try your luck, there are still uninspected corpses/wrecks.

I can see that but she can help more narratively as in directing him through the holy rites of the Omnissiah as he turns on the right systems internally. Since Kazimir is a layman.

Finally finished my model of Ravia, here she is in "combat mode", with her combat mask rather than the more mysterious general mask (i.e.- I couldn't find anything that wasn't super cyber-punky and 3d printed models are iffy when trying to combine 40k weapons with other aesthetics). Her chain coat is represented by faux-augmentation, one day hopefully real augments to further become one with the Omnissiah. At least that's how I'm telling it now

Are any of the old weapons a autogun rifle? Something with range? I also vote going to base.

No, all the Autogun wielders fled or died in explosion/ravine where you could not retrieve anything.

From the three (of five) bodies that could be easily searched, two had autopistol + 1 spare mag, Varn has claimed 1 set.

There is also one flack torso piece (that Helene grabbed of the fleeing bandit) and one flack torso and arms that Varn left behind but somebody else could have striped of the dead body.

If it doesn't get claimed I guess a second pistol on my guy would be par for the course. The Armor however I don't think any of it is as good as he is currently wearing as he is wearing his Flack as is. I may be wrong but Kazimir would have still stored it in the vehicles in case it could be used for trade or just as parts or whatever. Never know on the battlefield.

Nice, I am starting to look up stuff but I have a couple of questions. How much would it cost for Kazimir to advance his Tech-Use as a better understanding of his vehicles and his body? Also is there the requirements met here to advance his Agility? (i.e. a Tech-priest Rivia and what not.)

The modifications worked, though barely on two of them, Ravia has a red-dot, Kazimir gets his greatsword mono-bladed, and Helene has an exterminator attachment for her chainsword (1 vial of ammo). The David is half-repaired, though if someone wanted to assist the second test would be a pass for a full repair.

You can buy Tech-Use at level 4 for 200 XP, I may consider letting you buy it earlier then that due to the nature of your character, but there will need to be some narrative from you along the way before that even becomes an option.

As a Hiver you can use Tech-Use as a Basic skill, so half your Int stat of 32 which is 16, you can improve your int stat with a simple characteristic advance to 37 which will marginally improve your Basic Tech Use to 18.5 = 18. However for a guardsman simple characteristic advance in Int is 500xp, so not this time and you would have to safe up for it.

As for Agility, as per your Cybernetic Resurrection you can only make advances for Strength, Toughness and Agility with the assistant of a Skilled Magos. There isn’t one in the Fort and Ravia will not count as a skilled Magos for this purpose yet. As above good role play and narration will help make opportunities down the line.

All things considered, your are probably best set to spend your XP in other areas now or save them for future potential, as chasing a Int advancement is very little return in my opinion.

@Lord_Ikka, can you double check your character sheet, I think you may have marked Secret Tongue  +10 instead of Tech-Use +10 base on what I think your intention was.

I will check. Definitely need the Tech-Use and not some silly talking thing- that's for biologicals...

Edit- Fixed. I accidentally increased Tech rather than Tech-Use.

Indeed if any character narrates their assistance with the Goliath repair that should be sufficient.

Also Kudos on the rolls, I had not anticipated that you would need that many when I test rolled to see what the +2/-3 threshold levels would look like. Lesson learned.

My dice wanted to give me trouble- even though the modification prices aren't extreme, failing two out of the three to start would not have been a good beginning for Ravia as a weaponsmith.

So I will narrate helping with repairs and his own repairs shortly here. And thanks for all that good info. The other ideas for stuff to spend my XP on was Blade centric combat like Swift attack, Blademaster, Combat Master, or Crushing Blow. Still investigating.
