Primaris Dark Angels Tri-Wing

Thinking about pulling together some Primaris additions to my DA.

Does anyone use transports for their Primaris Dark Angels these days or do people just foot slog it across the board?

 

Not looking to win tournaments, just a fun, thematic all Primaris DA list, anyone have any thoughts? Thanks all.

What's the Repulsor for? Is it just a gunship, or are you using its transport capacity?

Still trying to find my feet with this primairs tri-wing list so had another go. Tried to get more bodies as the expense of the transports.

 

I know Ezekiel isn’t primaris but I’m planning on doing a primaris conversion for him anyway.

I don't love the Phobos Captain. He trades the ability to be a combat beatstick for one okay shooting attack.  I'd take the Indomitus Captain and load him up in an Impulsor with the Bladeguard Ancient and the Bladeguard.

 

Speaking of which, I'd definitely take an Impulsor. Having the Bladeguard (and your Captain) follow up the Outriders in an Impulsor gives you a one-two punch where you can follow up your Outrider's initial charge with something that should be able to grind up most units.

Good point with the one-two punch and the transport.

Maybe I can drop the Hellblasters, Phobos Captain & Ezekiel and squeeze in a Repulsor for the Blade Guard, Ancient & a Chief Librarian. I guess the trade off is faster movements vs not being able to use the banner on the turn they disembark.

 

Then again the Repulsor only moves 10” so the Blade Guard could easily cover this distance with an advance move. Means they’re out in the open from the start though. Decisions decisions.

Personally, I'd go with the pair of Impulsors from your first list. To get the points, i'd drop the Invader and a squad of Eliminators. Then I'd switch the Hellblasters over assault plasma incinerators and have them ride in the other Impulsor. Dakka-wise, you're not losing out, because the Impulsors pack a good amount of firepower, and you're giving units needed mobility assistance. 

 

Also, a Primaris Ezekial conversion is easy. When I first saw the Phobos Librarian, I thought he was Primaris Ezekial. Just give that guy a bionic eye, and you're good to go.
