Yep, I'll hold off on adding an answer to give anyone else a chance to ask any questions (and me a chance to learn some stellar cartography! :P)

As for Req, I have a feeling we're going to need things that will kill anything, so my proposed loadout:

 

15 Req - 1 x Magazine Kraken Penetrator Rounds (60)

15 Req - 1 x Magazine Metal Storm Rounds (60)

2 Req - Shot Selector (for Argo)

3 Req - Zachariah's Steel

 

35 Req, although if we're short a couple, I can drop this or that to help out.

Odysseus will likely have req to spare - he has traded in his flamer for a flame psychic power and lacks the reknown to take a cyber familiar.

 

Though if chapter-generic variants of the salamanders mantle (first founding, respected, req 20) are available he's definitely getting himself a sweet cape to go with his new hood :p

There does seem to be a Chapter-generic variant... the Admantine Mantle! Unfortunately that's Req50 and Hero level... :P

@MR - Hmm Chainsword, I can see the logic there.

 

So if there is any 'Spare Requisition Points floating around I could snag 2 of them as an Astartes Melee Attachment (Mono) for Grendel costs 7 Req.

You could, but it depends on if you're going with theme or efficiency, since if you just drop the gun and chop with a blade in each hand, you're hopefully going to blender whatever gets into melee with you.  Proccing Mag damage from two attacks is better than one...

 

EDIT: On top of that, the chainsword has Balanced, so if you're 1v1 you have a better chance of turning the blow, if your AG is lower than your WS.

An eludicator might be useful, though I need to find 100xp to take logic to use it fully (unless someone already has logic?). Never know what you might find on these old ships.
