The control stave is most likely superior then a power sword in all cases though. Black Knight Posted May 24, 2021 Share Posted May 24, 2021 Yeah, I think they probably thought the beat stick was better and wanted to keep it simple. Loosing -1ap for 3 strength, I would take the strength, although a sword maybe better if you are facing Marines and are alongside some Vanguard.
