Greetings Worshippers of the God Emperor!

I've been playing since 2nd Edition and my favorite army has always been Adepta Sororitas, Sisters of Battle. Over the years I amassed an army of at one point was 13,000 pts...when the vehicles were plastic, resin and pewter parts. In years past I played as Order of our Martyred Lady, Order of the Bloody Rose, Order of the Partheon Custom order. This time around I am going with the Valorous Heart as I like the rules and they fit my style of play for sisters.

Edit: With 1oth edition Codex in hands my Order that was once Valorous Heart has returned to being a Daughter of St. Katherine. Blessed be her name.  07/01/2024 WAR

When GW released the Plastic Army Box I was lucky enough to get it on preorder. I eventually traded some terrain for the models out of the boxed army to a local store. Earlier this year I began picking up the models I did not have....pretty much everything not in boxed army. A few weeks ago I stated my build after I scored Piety and Pain box set locally for retail from another gamer. I have my first game of 9th ed coming up in a few weeks against a long time friend, so figured he should be on the first one to face my plastic sisters army since he has face the pewter horde many many times.

Heres the pictures of the grey plastic horde:

So I need to get paint on these still..... But house repairs and work has been crazy and i have been focused more on working on my Grey Knights. I still have a lot of Sisters stuff to build. With the release of Kill Team I am building a Kill Team Specific Squad- so A full 10 Battle Sisters. First Model up is Sister Superior Alicia Ventress.

Needs more paint! having said that, good job on the building, the force is growing rapidly it seems.

Unfortunately weather and work are not complying with my need to paint more. I’m on vacation until next week and hope to get more painted.

I was able to build more stuff over the weekend and have been tearing through the back log of unbuilt sisters I have.

I started the weekend by working on my flying bases for my Zephyrim

I commend you for the strength to keep building while unable to paint! A force this size to paint always unbalances me, though I must say my own sisters army started in a similar way last year, and my unpainted backlog is slowly decreasing to a very manageable size.

So Vacation is over and here is all i got accomplished over the Week

Built 2nd Seraphim Squad, Arco Flagellants, 2nd Repentia Squad, and 2nd Dominion squad (4 meltaguns)

So this past week I decided to try to paint a little each day after work. I work 545a-545p Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday 545a-945p, Friday 545p- 545a so painting after work has been a little hard but I gave it try.

Interesting dice tray! A tray for rolling really is something I should use, but I never remember to bring one. Even just one of the regular vehicle kit-sized model box halves would do fine for it. Wouldn't be spilling the dice all over the place especially when rolling larger numbers of 'em. In fact optimally one box for the dice in active use for the battle, the other for the rolling part.

The dice bag looks nice too, but incidentally I just moved my dice from my B&C dice bag to a plastic box (sort of like Tupperware) because the bag was getting too stuffed, and it was difficult to find the correct dice without spilling all the contents on the table. Especially now that I carry D4/D8/D10/D20 dice too, for use in WarCry battles as wound counters. Though of course they'll work for 40k too. Been meaning to make or buy rotating counters since dice can get knocked over, but never get around to it.
