Guest Royal Cactus Posted May 29, 2021 Share Posted May 29, 2021 Hello everyone, I took a break from 40k and got a question about Keywords and the wysiwyg rule: Are Auspex Scans and Melterbombs now free/mandetory wargear for Firstborn Tactical Marines? As far as I understand it all Tacticals got Auspex Scans and Melterbombs this edition right? I would like to build my maries fluff and rule wise correct so it would be cool of you guys if you could clear things up for me. Kallas Posted May 29, 2021 Share Posted May 29, 2021 The Auspex piece of equipment and Meltabombs are now Stratagems. You can model them freely onto your Tactical Marines. Note that Auspex Scan works for any Astartes Infantry unit; and Meltabombs works for any unit with the <MELTA BOMB> keyword (which is currently only Tactical Marines and Assault Marines) - so having them modelled on, say, Sternguard, wouldn't have any use other than aesthetic (which is fine, if that's what you want).
