"War of the Just!" - WAR009's Adeptus Titanicus

So I finally decide to take the plunge in to Adeptus Titanicus.....I really just wanted to build the warhounds . As they have been my Favorite Titan since Fw relased the Mars pattern.

My regular opponet and I decided to both build our legios off the Space Marine legions the Legio served with during the Heresy. As an Iron Warrior player he choose Legio Krytos. As I may not play an Imperial Fist army currently, I would play Imperial Fists in 30K , I choose Legio Gryphonicus.

So after making a few purchases I started on the bases:

Warhounds

Barb wire our of 24 gauge florist wire

Lancers

Questoris Knights

Reaver

Ground assests with Aeroanutica Imperials

The green stuff is to give the bases different heights and terrain fixtures along with the cork.

Next I will be coating painting the ruined buildings and riverbed on Reavers bases before add the tile grout basing and creating bases for the ground assets.

Great stuff. Welcome to AT. Gryphonicus are a really fun Legio and can be made to look great, especially if you get the fancy full colour transfers for them. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Well to wrap up the weekend I worked on Reaver # 2, and the weapons for Reaver #1 and Warhounds. I still need to magentize them but waiting on my Battlebling order.

So wet few days in AZ but I got some work done.

While this was drying I met up with a friend to drop off some AT stuff I ordered for him. Then I went to a new gaming store, by where we had met up at. I went in to get Agrellan Eart/ badlands for my bases. I di accomplish that feat but walked out with another starter.

Titan Count:

Warmaster- 1

Warlord- 2

Warbringer- 1

Reavers- 6

Warhounds-6

I guess Ill have 2 legio's after all (ok there will be 3rd too).

Unfortunately my PVA glue/ Water mix was off and I end up having to do a second coat once the first one dried.

I kinda of like how it is the 1st layer dried different to the second layer.

Saturday before the rain started again I rattled canned my metallic base coats

So looking at my collection of plastic

Legio Gryphonicus will consist of:

Warlord

5 Reavers

2 Warhounds

Legio Crucius will consist of:

Warmaster

Warlord

Warbringer

Reaver

2 Warhounds

The 3 Legio I want is Audax....
