I was expecting there to be at least one a week, but things aren’t progressing quickly.

To be fair, they were a bit clear on things. Expect slowness.

More information is leaking from the Eye of Terror as we speak, so stay tuned to Warhammer Community as we drip-feed the juiciest reveals in the coming months.

Aye, it would be wishful thinking to get both HH and CSM in the same month I think. HH is arguably the bigger release and needs more advertising/time investment. I'd love for CSM to be released tomorrow but I think a reasonable guess would be last weekend of June/first weekend of July at the earliest. Plus if the rumours are true about how long the HH box has been ready to be released and delayed for, the HH fans deserve to pip us to release

I'll definitely be glad to see the loadouts available for all units in the codex and whether they've changed after playtesting. If I can have 5 man squads with a heavy weapon (like loyalists) I'll at least be somewhat happy with the Legionnaire changes :biggrin.:

....and I am waiting to see if I can give 2 special weapon to my full-melee 10-men Chaos Space Marine marked Khorne who definitely don't want a heavy weapon in the squad....

New "Cultist Warband" (renamed Cultists of the Abyss).

[snip]

Could some philanthropist explain me? Why the flamer cultist is on a different datasheet? Isn't the flamer just a weapon?

2nd perplexity: the leaks told of a 10-20 men squad, why the box (the repack of Blackstone) still just has 8 men?

Yeah this is just a reboxing of said set presumably there's a separate multipart kit

also Flamer Cultist is currently an elite choice separate character

New cultist kit was revealed at Warhammer Fest. What's exactly this? I don't find a place for this kit. This was not in the leaks.

It isn't a new kit, thats why, it was some of the 'baddies' from Blackstone fortress, the board game that was released separately, quite some time ago and has now been reboxed, why we're talking about it is because the new cultists that going to be out soon are like these.

I know about Blackstone and all. I don't understand why they are reboxing the Cultist of the Abyss (without "Abyss" in the name). What should we do with these guys?

The BSF cultists now that they have a repackaging and name is prob a new unit or coulb be a sort of reinforcements box for the new cultits. If it is reinforcements that would seem to imply that cultists can take auto guns. No proof of this, just spitballing.

That would be just great.

The esthetic of the new kit is matching. Weapons are good. Granade "are there" is good.

My source says these are not in his playtest rules. So maybe the codex will have them who knows.

That's HEAVILY interesting. Matrix has a large anomaly in this moment

We need to do some warp scrying.  Seems like there are quite a few unknown unknowns here.

You guys, I managed to get one of those Cultist Warband boxes if you want any information

Anything not shown on the datasheet?

No. It looks exactly like any other box you'd buy for any other army. Since it is was repackaged leads me to believe that it will have rules support in the new book as its own unit.

How did you get hold of one of the boxes ?

My lgs had one. Have a friend who helps out around there and he told me that the new cultists were in. I told him that was impossible. I saw the post today and went to check and sure enough it was the repackaged cultists of the abyss

But the "of the Abyss" has been removed. They are just "cultists" on the box. That should mean they will be just playable. Probably some lines of the rules were missing from the "source" playtest copy.

Yeah. The instruction book just says cultist, cultist champion, and cultist firebrand. I'm not sure where these guys will fit. I'm assuming they will be their own unit based on how they're boxed with the exception of the firebrand who will probably be his own character like he is now. It also could be a reinforcements type kit so you can put some different weapons in the new squad. We'll just have to wait and see cause the box or instructions don't indicate anything.
