Irate Khornate
So why 3 per 5 get power fists? LC losing re-rolls wound removes the weapon identity, why even have chain axes if it's going to be the same as the power weapons. There is some serious design flaws in GW's production pipeline. Anyway thanks Chris for sharing You are incorrect. You get three power fists in the kit.No, they're right. it's 2 power fists and a chainfist in the kit. *sigh* The new CSM Terminator kit comes with 3 power fists and 1 chainfist. You can see the sprues on the GW webstore. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Chaos-Space-Marine-Terminators-2019 The old CSM Terminator kit comes with 2 power fists and 1 chainfist. You can see the sprues in this thread. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/190710-chaos-sprue-compendium/ Clear? Looks like I missed one. I didn't see the singular fist on the first sprue. Or is Drach'nyen getting two attack profiles? Does it still retain the Daemon Weapon abilities? EDIT: I also have a friend asking about Traitor Guard? I know some earlier leaks mentioned new models for them, so I wanted to see if there were any rules associated Edited March 11, 2022 by TheGodOfHammers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371366-what-to-expect-from-9e-csm/page/50/#findComment-5803854 Share on other sites

Stats are impressive, ignoring first failed save + max damage of 3 makes him a beast. 16 A puts him on par with Mortarion, probably worth @340 points. Would love to know if the 6+ to wound applies for each 6, or just once per turn. Would also love to know if the charge bonus only applies to him, or if it's an aura. Also, do his auras apply to Heretic Astartes or just Black Legion. That's really important. Lagrath
Also, losing 3 damage and going to d3 is super unfortunate. But mortal wounds are nice especially with 5+ exploding hits in BL super doctrine. Clockworkchris
Another custom trait: This one is all encompassing (so if you take this one you cabt take a second custom trait), also chosen cant take this one: -Ignore CA -Fallback and shoot & fallback and charge, but with -1 to hit for the rest of the turn (unmarked specific, so no marks allowed) Khornestar 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371366-what-to-expect-from-9e-csm/page/50/#findComment-5803925 Share on other sites

Lagrath
I'm also realizing that the increased amount of attacks on Abbadon is at the cost of probably 1) no longer rerolling 1s to hit on himself and 2) no longer having exploding 5s to hit in melee versus everything (I assume the new doctrines replace DTtFE). Oh well. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371366-what-to-expect-from-9e-csm/page/50/#findComment-5803931 Share on other sites

Can we all take the time to welcome our helbrute overlords. Did anything change on the datasheet? Other than the addition of <CORE>? I'm looking back, they can take marks now as well. Nurgle mark seems like the way to go. -1 to wound, -1 damage from dreadnought rule. Hell yeah. Now, if only they could get an invuln... Clockworkchris, does your source have any info regarding if any of these rules apply to forge world units? Like, can a leviathan get a mark, etc.? Lagrath
If you can mark core vehicles such as helbrutes and get stacking -1 damage on top of the Legion buffs, I might be interested in Helbrutes for the first time ever. Sersi
Hopefully, EC Chosen are not locked to the Slaanesh Specific custom trait. They're already AP-3 with +1AP on an unmodified 6 to wound. I assume that marked units can't take other gods specific traits so: +1 to advance and charge rolls, or +1 movement & strength would work nicely.
