Trans human for nurgle is some nonsense. Every unit should have access like custodes and marines.

Hard disagree, I think Transhuman is poor design and shouldn't exist at all. A Strength 14 weapon (e.g. Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage) that can wound a tank on 2+ shouldn't need a 4+ to wound a guy just because his high command told him to act tough.

Agree. One of the dumbest strats in the game.

Damit Marine harden up and you can take anything. *Proceeds to tank 7 lascannons*

The strats are annoying but 30-40 obsec permanent transhuman deathwing Terminators with random stormshields in squads and a master apothecary is much worse. And just lazy and terrible game design. The strats are not nearly as bad by comparison.

Well yeah, that's also terrible. Two wrongs don't make a right!

I think part of the problem is that what used to make a marine tough was a 3+ armor save and 4T, in a game with very limited AP and most inf weapons being 3S or 4S for your average guys weapons.

Only having a 50% or 33% chance to wound, most of the time, and the marine usually having a 66% save, meant that they were hard to kill, as were their MEQ.

You needed plasma guns or power weapons and such.

The average marine was not super killy, but he was tough.

Once they got 2 wounds with Primaris, they were even tougher at the start of 8e.

Now halfway through 9th, it seems like everyone's basic troops are AP -1 at least, lots more 5S or higher weapons, and lots of weapons became D2 or D3. Most guns have more shots too. So a lot more higher str, higher ap, higher damage shots coming at you.

Your Marines and MEQs 3+ 4T 2W stats are not nearly as tough as they were in some other versions of the game.

So we get stuff like Trans human or -1DMG to make them tough.

And even those only do so much.

Personally, I think 10e needs a reset of how killy the game is. AP needs to be rarer, and AP more than -1 should be very rare. Shouldn't pick up half my army on the first turn.

I remember the days when marines were T3, those were wild times.

If you could ask how the new Possessed look like, and if between the new kits there are new equipments/weapons

He doesnt have photo of models or anything.

Sorry, I meant if the stats are the same as Death Guard or there are modifications

Just got confirmation, basic loadout is the blackstone fortress loadout (hammer, plasma pistol) but he has access to all melee weapons.

What about ranged weapons? Is he only limited to the plasma pistol?

This makes zero sense considering Tau, Aeldar, and Tyranid codex's just released have massive, spanning weapons options for all of their HQ's.

So, how come there havent been any leaks about the points costs of any unit or their upgrades? They have to have some idea with all this info.

Obviously he has the info, but i do not ask because it could be a dead giveaway to GW who the playtester is and also these are playtesrer rules, so points are surely bot the final ones we will see in the codex. And with him only answering 2 to 3 questions every 1 or 2 days, i prefer to ask more important things.

I think it depends. Do those filthy xenos HQs have the weapons in the multiple iterations of those kits, or just a blanket ability regardless of what bits come in the box?

For the chaos lord it definitely makes me happy that the other melee weapons are options, but if the BSF lord is the only kit then only the thunder hammer is represented. It's so dang messy.

Sorry to be crass, but the nid codex just leaked in its entirety, in a damn PDF cleanly listing every single detail, but this guy is afraid to drop a point total or get outed by GW spies? Come on.
