Brother Chaplain Tyranus
I am getting back into Dark angels after taking a nice sisters of battle hiatus and I am curious about the Rites of Initiation and the promotion of characters. From what I read there is a specific list of Units that can be upgraded with the Dark Angel rites as well as the space marine upgrades (ie chief apothocary). so my question is this. Where does it say that you can upgrade a Primaris Apothecary to a Chief Apothocary? Or where does it say that I can make a Redemptor Dreadnought to a Deathwing Redemptor? Am I just missing something? phandaal
Chief Apothecary is a standard Space Marine upgrade. You will find that in the main codex under Chapter Command on p 98. Rites of Initiation is on p 43 of the Dark Angels codex supplement. You'll find the list of upgradeable units and the points cost for the upgrades there.
