So I've started a kill team. For this thread, I'm going to be doing more than one, but for now this is will I'll document my first. I'll be working on this slowly as I have other painting commitments, so I'm primarily using these guys as a "palette cleanser."

But I give you my first model: The leader of my Kommando Kill-Team

Dagrukk channels the aspects of Gork and is the epitome of "Kunnin' but Brutal." With an uncanny ability (for an ork) to blend into his surroundings, Dagrukk has been known to utilize mud and muck as camouflage.

Notable Quotes:

"WE'Z A KILL TEAM, NOT REZK-YOO-ERS"

"DAT BIGGY'Z RIGHT 'ARD, BUT IT BLEEDS. IF IT BLEEDS, WE'Z C'N KILL'IT!"

Thank you for the nice words guys! I've managed to get a few more done, which I will post in the upcoming days.  In the mean time, here is one :D

Second member of Da Bushwakkaz, Dillrog is the sneakiest git in the lot.  Capable of what he calls "disepshun," he often gets the rest of Da bushwakkaz in trouble, when his "clever" plans get them in too deep.  No one suffers for this more than he, however.  Usually, he either risks the wrath of Bos Dagrukk, o in one drastic case, he loses a piece of himself.  Like when he lost his arm by a shot from a "biggy" plasmagun.

Noteable Quotes:

"THAT'S A NASTY 'ABIT YA GO'THAR!"

Ahahaha, great stuff ! The "Dutch" Ork is amazing, nobody likes "Dillon" and looking forward to Blain.

request, granted:

Blayndreg Dragsmasha is the breaching expert of Da Bushwakkaz.  He'll run headlong, and smash through anything: regardless of the risk, regardless of the injury.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"OY AIN'T GO'TIME TA BLEED!"

Aaaaaand, one more for today:

Bullet bill is the tracking specialist of Da Bushwakkaz.  He has always claimed to have been touched by Mork, because he seems to be able to sense things the others just can't.  Because of his vital role, he gravitates towards "MERCSMUNSHIP," and acts as the unit's SNIPABOY.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"BOSS, I FINK WE'Z BEIN' WATCHED!"

That's all for today.  I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

This is amazing.

Will the predator be sly marbo?

Thats an excellent idea...but since its a kommandos team based on predator, I was able to roll the predator into the team.  see below:

The COMMSBOY of Da Bushwakkaz and a camo expert, Gragskug is able to bled seamlessly into the jungle.  He often tricks his favorite prey, "HUMMIEZ AND BIGGIEZ" by cleverly disguising himself as one of them, as he lures them into a trap.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"OVA HEAH! TURN 'ROUND!"

well, when you think about it, 'Ol painless, is the biggest weapon the team has...and statewise the powerram fits that description :D

Next on the list:

The scrappiest of Da Bushwakkaz, Madrak takes great pride in his abilities in "SNEAKIN', HIDIN', AND SLIT'N."

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"GUNNA 'AVE ME SUM FUN!"

Aaaaan one more for today:

The SHOOTABOY of Da Bushwakkaz, Pancho knows that every problem can be solved with more DAKKA.  Moreover, considered one of the more "KULTUR'D" of the kommandos, he often acts as the groups' translator, on the rare occasion that is necessary.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"DA SKINNY SAY DA BUSH...JUST GO'ALIVE'N TOOK'M!"

Well, once theyre all done, I'll have to come up with a concept for the krieg. I'm thinking maybe base them on colonial Marines from Aliens? I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be great!

I think Old school Cadians are closer.

If you want to go sci fi maybe Snow Troopers from the Empire Strikes back? They are (literallly) a bit faceless though and lack the individual personalities of the colonial marines. Snowlonial marines maybe?

I did consider trying to make the Irish army of the 1930s out of them

Grailkeeper: I'd like to somehow work them into an 80's action franchise some how...they don't have to have the same heads...but I'd like to keep the bodies the same, the trick is...how to make them look like they belong in the jungle. lol

Freakshow and War009:  Thank you so much! you guys are so very kind.

The joker of Da Bushwakkaz, Wrong Eye uses his goggles, blessed by MORK, to "SEE BETTA."  Since he clearly has "DA BEST' vision, Boss Dagrukk made him their rokkit launcha bearer.

NOTABLE QUOTES:

"'OY BILL, BILL! DA, UDDER DAY, I WENT TO DA RUNTHERD AN' SED..."

and finally...

The trusty pet of the krew, Yatja likes to explode in a massive way.  None of the other Bushwakkaz ever wonder why, after he goes BOOM, they always find him back at the squig pens.  In reality the squigherd either doesn't have the heart or is too "AFEERED" of Boss Dagrukk, to tell him, its a new squig.

Great paint job on the squig- captured it perfectly.

Empire did come out in 1980... but I get what you mean.

The action movie I associate most with Trench coats is the Matrix- although that's very firmly a 90s movie.

Now Catachans- there's a bunch of lads who walked straight out of Commando/Rambo/Predator

Edited by grailkeeper

Honestly I was thinking perhaps the soldiers from avatar...? Not 80s but it might work....

I've thought about catachans, but I want to find a use for these DKoK...that came in the octarius box.
